Our Platform

Our platform is powered by proprietary carbon conserving (C2) microbes that convert renewable feedstocks into high-value materials while radically minimizing CO2 loss during the production phase.

Everyday products without compromise.

ZymoChem produces bio-based products at a higher yield – up to 50% higher– compared to today’s best-in-class biomanufacturing.

The result is a bioprocess that is far more efficient and enables fully circular manufacturing. The efficiencies of our platform unlock superior economics - up to 50% lower cost than incumbents.

What does it mean to be a Biomanufacturer

At the highest level, we compete in the chemical-manufacturing market. We’re a manufacturer in the purest sense of the word. We’re not inventing a new category, just as we’re not asking our partners or downstream customers to reinvent their business.

We produce microbes and essential ingredients that replace petroleum-based ingredients in everyday products.  Our bio-based approach to creating sustainable everyday products is our competitive advantage within the broader category. It allows us to easily segue into answering the question “Why are you an order of magnitude better than my other options?”

That’s because we are helping to make everyday products that already exist truly sustainable.  Our microbes minimize the generation and emission of CO2. Overall, we’re enabling a seamless shift to renewable means of production. In that regard, we may also be categorized under the emergent category of “Sustainable Manufacturing.”
